Barron's Offers Baylor Students Site-Wide Licenses
Baylor University, Barron’s and Dow Jones are continuing their partnership to provide educational and professional resources to Baylor students.
The Investing in Education program, formerly known as Barron’s in Education, provides students with free access to real-time digital and magazine content utilized by business professionals.
“The goal is to spur financial education, learn from investing’s best minds and foster professional growth,” Sandeep Mazumder, the William E. Crenshaw endowed dean of the Hankamer School of Business, said.
Investing in Education connects students with experiential learning opportunities, live webinars featuring top financial advisors and journalists, and networking opportunities, Mazumder said. Students will also gain access to exclusive webinars featuring Q&A sessions with Barron’s editors and financial industry experts.
“This valuable financial program is available thanks to the generosity of Tommy McBride and McBride & Associates at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management,” Mazumder said. “I appreciate Tommy’s continued investment in the education of our students.”
Barron’s also offers a student ambassador program, which tasks students with sharing program resources with their peers and promoting events across campus. Ambassadors receive priority access to internship listings, networking opportunities and professional references.
“I am excited to continue this partnership and encourage all students to participate in this strategic relationship between Baylor, Dow Jones and Barron’s,” Mazumder said.
