David Bitterman currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Leader Training at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence. He holds a Masters in Strategic Studies from the Army War College in Carlisle, PA, and a Masters in Health Administration from Baylor University. He retired from a 30-year career as a commissioned officer in 2015, serving at the highest levels of the United States Army Medical Department. When he retired, he was serving as the Consultant to the U.S. Army Surgeon General for Healthcare Administration.
