The Dean’s List: Top Five Songs on My Playlist

Sandeep Mazumder, dean at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, not only has a list of outstanding students, but also a list of favorite songs. He shared a list of the top five songs on his playlist he and his family enjoy. You can listen to the playlist here.

1. "Alone Together" by Catherine Russell
   Catherine Russell has become one of my favorite jazz vocalists, and this song is frequently played in our household.
2. "Naima" by John Coltrane
   John Coltrane is heavily featured on my playlist, and this is one of my all-time favorite Coltrane songs.
3. "My Redeemer's Love" by Sovereign Grace Music
   We used to sing this frequently at our former church; it's a song that is full of praise for God’s amazing love for us.
4. "Graves into Gardens" by Elevation Worship
   God makes beauty out of ashes, and the lyrics to this song describe that beautifully. This is a song we also often sing at our church.
5. "Autumn 1" by Max Richter
   Max Richter recomposed some of Vivaldi's Four Seasons music in this album which I cannot recommend enough. My daughter and I listen to this album a lot!
