Headshot of Dillon Fontaine

Historically minded, Future focused

One of Dillon Fontaine’s biggest passions is history. History is the story of our past -- our achievements and our failures. If we take advantage of the context that history offers, we can learn a great deal. For Dillon, history helps him to understand situations and to be able to craft stories around them. Applying this thinking to sales, Dillon is able to understand the context of buyers and their situations and to craft value through customized solutions. Through a summer internship at The Odyssey Project, Dillon worked on creating the foundation and what will be “the history” of this successful tech start up.

Dillon cares about creating strong relationships and credits ProSales with giving him the tools to do so. He has learned to ask purposeful questions, to put customers first and diagnose their needs. As a salesperson, you can be a trusted advisor, coach, teacher and friend. Another passion of Dillon’s is sports. He has been a basketball official for 3 years for the NIRSA (National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association) Dillon is also a self-taught golfer and believes that golf is a lot like sales. You may be having a bad day on the course and find you are missing most of your shots. But, the best thing you can do is focus on your next shot. Likewise, in sales, you may have been rejected numerous times, but simply put your energy into the next call to create success. Dillon is looking forward to bringing this resilience into his future role.
