Baylor Entrepreneurship Remains Top 10 Program
Baylor University’s Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation program continues to stand out globally and nationally in recent undergraduate and research rankings.
Baylor Entrepreneurship ranked No. 8 for the 2024 Best Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs by U.S. News & World Report, marking 15 consecutive years in the top 10. Additionally, it secured the No. 4 spot in the 2024 TCU Global University Entrepreneurship Research Productivity Rankings.
“Baylor has long been one of the nation’s top-ranked universities for undergraduate entrepreneurship and programming aimed at students and the Waco community,” said Peter Klein, PhD, chair of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation. “It’s a great time to be an entrepreneurship student or professor at Baylor.”
This marks the third year in a row that Baylor Entrepreneurship has made the top 10 nationally in entrepreneurship programming and globally in research productivity. Baylor is one of only two programs that is recognized in both rankings, alongside Indiana University Bloomington.
The top-tier research coming from the department helps recruit more scholars to Baylor and helps advance the University as an R1 Research institution, said Sandeep Mazumder, PhD, the William E. Crenshaw Endowed Chair of the Business School.
“Our Entrepreneurship faculty and students continue to produce high-quality, purposeful research that truly impacts the field and society,” Mazumder said. “These rankings represent a solid foundation and a rich tradition of excellence from the department.”
