Study Abroad
In this ever-growing and interconnected world, it is vital for students to have global experiences within their education. One way for this to occur is through a study abroad program, which provides students with an international perspective as they enter their professional careers. There are many benefits to studying abroad, including experiencing different styles of education, interacting with new cultures and sharpening your language skills. The Hankamer School of Business has many opportunities for students to find the right study abroad program.
Faculty members lead several programs that meet students’ needs. Previous faculty-led programs offered through the Business School include summer sessions in Maastricht, Great Britain and Sydney. These opportunities allow students to explore the world while earning course credits toward their Baylor degree.
Baylor also partners with international institutions and universities to connect students from across the globe through their studies. Previous partners include St. Louis University in Spain, Seinan Gakuin University in Japan and Monterrey Tec in Queretaro, Mexico. Each program features courses that work within the Baylor Business degree plans.
In addition to the numerous study abroad programs offered in the Business School, students can also obtain global experience through international internships and Business mission abroad programs. These activities can also be applied to the Global Engagement Certificate in Business. For more information on these opportunities, visit the McBride Center for International Business.
