Meet the Major Series
On Nov. 18, HSB continued its Meet the Major Series, highlighting Management Information Systems and Business Analytics. Faculty and students shared insights on coursework, internships and career pathways, helping attendees make informed academic and professional decisions.
ProSales Events
The Center for Professional Selling (ProSales) continued to engage students and corporate partners through multiple events this semester.
- Professional Development Program (PDP), a student-run initiative within the Hankamer School of Business, offered events designed to foster learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Students gained exposure to diverse industries and career paths while strengthening their professional skills.
- Explore ProSales offered companies an inside look at the ProSales program, its high-performance sales research model and opportunities to interact with more than 20 students who shared insights into the curriculum, competitions, internships and career strategies.
- ProSales Information Sessions provided prospective students with guidance on the admissions process and emphasized the program’s commitment to developing future sales leaders through personalized coaching, national competitions and hands-on experience.
- Fall Awards Banquet: celebrated the achievements of students. The event recognized outstanding performance, leadership and service within the ProSales program, highlighting the continued success of its students both in and beyond the classroom.
Dean’s Christmas Reception
On Dec. 4, HSB hosted the annual Dean’s Christmas Reception in Foster 250. Faculty and staff gathered to celebrate the holiday season, enjoy refreshments and reflect on the accomplishments of the semester in a festive and collegial atmosphere.
ACC Wrapping Event
On Dec. 9, the Department of Accounting and Business Law hosted its annual ACC Wrapping Event, where students, faculty, and staff came together to wrap gifts for the Christmas Wish Project. The event fostered community spirit and service, spreading holiday cheer throughout the Hankamer community.
Hankamer Student Organization’s Hot Chocolate & Santa
On Dec. 12, the Hankamer Student Organization (HSO) hosted Hot Chocolate & Santa, inviting undergraduate and graduate students to take a study break and enjoy hot chocolate while visiting with Dean Szymanski and Santa. The event provided a fun and festive way for students to relax before finals week.
