The Hankamer School of Business (HSB) hosts several events that advance professional development, cultivate networks and enrich student engagement.
National Collegiate Consulting Championship
On Sept. 29, HSB hosted the National Collegiate Consulting Championship, a competition open to undergraduate students. The event consisted of four challenges, including a case competition, providing participants with real-world consulting experience.
ProSales Professional Development Program
On Oct. 1, the Center for Professional Selling (ProSales) hosted the Professional Development Program, which helps students prepare for the college-to-career transition. The student-led initiative offers a series of events that build knowledge beyond the classroom, enhance understanding of various fields and provide insight into career opportunities.
ACC Public Accounting Night
On Oct. 2, the Department of Accounting and Business Law hosted ACC Public Accounting Night, connecting accounting majors with corporate partners. The event featured an information session and tax vs. audit panel discussion, followed by a networking career fair with refreshments.
ProSales Talks
On Oct. 3, ProSales seniors presented “ProSales Talks,” delivering TED Talk-style presentations across two lunch sessions. The event allowed students to share industry insights, leadership lessons and key takeaways from their sales experiences.
Meet the Major Series
On Oct. 7, HSB continued its Meet the Major Series, where departments spotlight their programs for students exploring different business majors. Faculty and students shared insights on coursework, internships and career pathways, helping attendees make informed academic and professional decisions.
