The Hankamer School of Business (HSB) hosts several events that advance professional development, cultivate networks and enrich student engagement.

Global Business Expo
On Sept. 9, students gathered in the Foster Atrium for the Global Business Expo, an informational event showcasing global opportunities at HSB. The expo allowed students to explore programs, connect with directors and gain insights from past participants.

Business School Open House
HSB hosted an open-house event on Sept. 16, highlighting its wide range of academic majors, departments, programs and student organizations. Representatives were available to answer questions and guide students in exploring ways to get involved in the HSB community. The come-and-go event was open to all students and featured complimentary Dr Pepper floats.

Tacos and Translations
Also on Sept. 16, HSB hosted Tacos and Translations, where students enjoyed free tacos while learning how to effectively communicate their study abroad or global engagement experiences on résumés, in interviews and in graduate school applications.

ProSales Professional Development Program
On Sept. 17, the Center for Professional Selling hosted a Professional Development Program designed to prepare students for the transition from college to career. Jason Hobart, vice president of Global Sales and Partnerships at Echo360, delivered a presentation titled “Discovery Skills for Business Success: Listen, Learn, Lead.” Hobart shared leadership insights and encouraged students to cultivate essential skills for long-term professional growth.

HRM-MGT Student Meet and Greet
The Human Resource Management-Management (HRM-MGT) Industry-Student Meet and Greet was held on Sept. 17 in Foster 143/144. This interactive event brought students and corporate partners together to strengthen connections, explore career opportunities, and engage in professional development conversations.

ProSales 40th Anniversary Research Symposium Opening Dinner
On Sept. 18, the Center for Professional Selling hosted the opening dinner for its 40th Anniversary Research Symposium. The event welcomed 48 Marketing and Sales Scholars representing seven countries.

BEST Family and Alumni Dinner
The Baylor Business Excellence Scholarship Team (BEST), a yearlong academic leadership cohort known as the “leaders of leaders” within HSB, hosted its annual Family and Alumni Dinner on Sept. 19. The evening celebrated the accomplishments of the cohort while also looking ahead to future opportunities and impact.

Christian Leadership Business Lunch

The Christian Leadership Business program hosted its luncheon on Sept. 26, bringing together students and faculty mentors for an afternoon focused on integrating faith with leadership in the business world.
