Sophie Yang-Sun
Sophie Yang-Sun, PhD, is an associate professor of Supply Chain Management. Yang received her PhD degree in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University. She teaches Operations Management. Her main research interest is supply networks. In particular, she has two research streams: 1) how the co-embeddedness of a firm and its suppliers in the supply and demand network affects the firm’s decisions (e.g., M&A target selection), strategies (e.g., innovation and sustainability), and performances; and 2) how the supply and demand network changes over time and adapts after major events, such as M&As and the changes in the geopolitical environment. She has published in top supply chain journals, such as the Journal of Operations Management (a top business journal in the UTD24 list), Decision Sciences, the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, the Journal of Supply Chain Management, and the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
Daniel Watts
Daniel I. Watts is an assistant professor of Management. With a PhD in Management from Georgia State University, his research interests focus on socialization, leadership, workplace relationships and organizational culture. He teaches Leadership and Organizational Behavior to business students. Watts has published in renowned journals, including Personnel Psychology and Psychological Bulletin.
Adé Oyedijo
Adé Oyedijo, PhD, is an assistant professor of Supply Chain Management. He obtained his PhD in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Newcastle University. His research interests focus on developing sustainable supply chains in developed and emerging economies. Oyedijo teaches Global Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. His work has appeared on global platforms such as the World Economic Forum and in journals such as Supply Chain Management: An International, Production Planning and Control, and International Journal of Production Research. He currently serves as a regional editor (Africa) for the Journal of Supply Chain Management and a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
