“Dr. Pullig brings a deep commitment to faculty development and academic excellence,” said David M. Szymanski, PhD, the William E. Crenshaw Endowed Dean at HSB. “His leadership will further strengthen our faculty as they pursue outstanding teaching, research and scholarship.”

“I’m deeply honored to serve as associate dean for Faculty Excellence,” Pullig said. “At Hankamer, our faculty are doing extraordinary work that advances both scholarship and practice, driving meaningful impact across disciplines. I’m excited to do my part to continue supporting their efforts, cultivating a culture of academic excellence in both research and teaching, and empowering faculty to lead in shaping the future of business education.”

Szymanski said Quade’s role will deepen the Business School’s mission and vision to be the preeminent Christian business school.

“Dr. Quade embodies our commitment to cultivate principled leaders informed by faith and ethical practices,” Szymanski said. “His continued guidance of our values- and faith-based initiatives ensures our students find a place of belonging at Hankamer and graduate prepared to serve and lead with character.”

Additionally, Szymanski noted Quade will continue to oversee CL&E, which is being repositioned as the Center for Christian Leadership and Ethics as a means to serve as a better representative of and resource for HSB as a whole.

“I am honored by the appointment to associate dean for Values-Based Leadership,” Quade said. “I look forward to helping steward our continued growth as a preeminent business school rooted in Christian values. I am eager to grow the reach and impact of values- and faith-based programs within and beyond HSB for the benefit of students, alumni and stakeholders.”

In addition to announcing these appointments, Szymanski expressed his gratitude for the dedicated service and contributions of two colleagues transitioning from associate dean roles at HSB.

Mitchell Neubert, PhD, the Chavanne Chair of Christian Ethics in Business, served as senior associate dean for Research and Faculty Development, and Cindy Wu, PhD, served as associate dean for Community, Teaching and Learning. Both return to teaching and research as professors of Management.

“We are deeply grateful to Dr. Neubert and Dr. Wu for their years of faithful service and leadership at the Business School,” Szymanski said. “Their contributions have significantly strengthened our faculty, contributed to the environment of faith and belonging, and enhanced our students’ educational experience. We look forward to their continued impact through purposeful research and in the classroom.”

These appointments reflect the Business School’s ongoing commitment to Christ-centered academic excellence, values-based leadership and the flourishing of its faculty and students.
