The Hankamer School of Business (HSB) hosts several events that advance professional development, cultivate networks and enrich student engagement.

Bears First Day of Class – Spring Semester

On Jan. 20, students returned to campus for the first day of the spring semester, beginning a new term of coursework, collaboration and professional growth.

Professional Selling (ProSales) Events

- On Jan. 29, ProSales hosted the Baylor Business Selling Outside (BBSO) Competition, designed to provide students with realistic, hands-on sales experience. In this individual-level competition, students participated in a 20-minute live role play with a business executive, receiving virtual feedback from Baylor ProSales’ Corporate Partners, Advisory Board and Ambassador Board. 

- On Feb. 2, ProSales hosted Explore ProSales, welcoming corporate executives to campus to learn about the program’s high-performance sales research model. 

- Also on Feb. 2, ProSales held an information session for prospective students, highlighting the program’s commitment to developing future sales leaders. 

Global Business Expo

On Feb. 3, HSB hosted the Global Business Expo, an informational event designed to promote global learning opportunities across the business school. Students engaged with program directors and former participants to explore study abroad, international internships, and global business experiences.

Called to Serve

On Feb. 3 and Feb. 4, HSB hosted Called to Serve, a once-per-semester breakfast gathering for faculty and staff. The event provided an opportunity to pause, connect and reflect on the mission and impact of their work within the Hankamer community.

ACC Career Fair

On Feb. 6, the Department of Accounting and Business Law hosted the ACC Career Fair in Foster 250, connecting accounting students with corporate partners. The event included a virtual Career Fair 101 session, followed by in-person networking and resume reviews and mock interviews to help students prepare for professional opportunities.
