Business Minors
Business Minors
If you wish to study business without pursuing a BBA degree, you have the option to pursue a minor in the following areas of study:
Business Administration |
Non-business majors must have at least Sophomore-standing, with a minimum 12 Baylor hours, and a 2.75 cumulative Baylor GPA in order to enroll in these minor courses. Students must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA to continue taking classes in this minor. Course availability during the fall and spring semesters may be limited. Most courses, however, are offered online during the summer. Requirements for a Minor:
A student must earn at least a "C" in each class in the minor. A student may elect to substitute MKT 3340 for MKT 3301 in the Business Administration minor if planning a career in a Nonprofit organization. |
Economics |
Requirements for a Minor:
*MTH 1321 should be taken to satisfy the math degree requirement. ECO 1301, 1305, 3308 and 3355 do not count toward the Economics minor. |
Entrepreneurship |
Non-business majors must have at least Sophomore-standing, with a minimum 12 Baylor hours, and a 2.75 cumulative Baylor GPA in order to enroll in these minor courses. Students must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA to continue taking classes in this minor. Due to seat availability, there is no guarantee that a student starting this minor will be able to complete the coursework. Requirements for a Minor:
