Scholarships
The Accounting Department provides scholarships for students who have declared an accounting major and completed 6 hours of upper-level accounting courses.
Accounting majors who have completed 6 credit hours of core accounting courses and are currently enrolled in accounting classes will receive an email notification about the opening of the application process. Accounting Majors who are not enrolled in core accounting courses for the semester should contact the office manager in the accounting department for application instructions. The application periods are typically in February and September. Scholarships are awarded on a semester basis, with funds granted in the semester following the application.
The department offers both need/merit scholarships, and merit-only scholarships. To maximize scholarship awards, all applicants must complete the FAFSA early to document their financial need. In addition to submitting the accounting department application sent via email in February and September, students must also register for scholarships through the Baylor University Scholarship Universe application.
