Robbins Healthcare MBA Students Shine at Gulf Coast Healthcare Leaders Association Case Competition
First-year students in the Robbins Healthcare MBA Program took home first place at the Annual Case Competition hosted by the Gulf Coast Healthcare Leaders Association. The event took place at the Baylor College of Medicine Mcnair Campus in Houston on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Ashley Faorkhrouz, Amelia Poad and Abigail Steed presented a strategic operations plan to address challenges facing Metro Ambulatory Surgery Center. Their approach, dedication and hard work were instrumental in securing the victory, said Cherise Bridgwater, director of Accreditation and Operations for the Robbins Healthcare MBA Program and coach of the team.
“We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements and look forward to their continued success in the healthcare industry,” Bridgwater said. “We extend our sincere gratitude to the Gulf Coast Healthcare Leaders Association for organizing such a valuable event and to Baylor College of Medicine for providing the exceptional venue.”
