Faculty and Staff

Matt Quade has served as the Director of the Center for Christian Leadership and Ethics in HSB since January 2022 and as Associate Dean for Values-Based Leadership since September 2025. Matt began his career at Baylor in the fall of 2014 after earning his PhD from Oklahoma State University. In addition to teaching leadership classes in HSB, his research interests include ethical leadership, servant leadership, bottom-line mentality and pro-adoption workplace policies. Matt and his wife, Jessica, have five children, Noah, Caleb, Joshua, Grace and Lydia.

Matt Douglas has served as the Assistant Director of the Center for Christian Leadership and Ethics in HSB since June 2025. Matt began his career at Baylor in the fall of 2018 after he retired from a 22-year career in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to teaching operations and supply chain management classes in HSB, his research interests include supply chain integrity and workplace safety. Matt and his wife, Jenny, have two Baylor Bears, Isabelle and Aaron.

Caryn Williams has worked as the Events Coordinator in the Center for Christian Leadership and Ethics at Baylor since the fall of 2023. Caryn is a graduate of Baylor University and is passionate about connecting with and encouraging college students. Caryn and her husband, Paul, have four children, Zoe, Daniel, Bella and Piper.
