Baylor Business: On Mission
In partnership with Baylor Missions and Public Life and the McBride Center for International Business, our BBOM experiences seek to equip ambassadors for Christ by utilizing business knowledge and skills to serve the kingdom, animate the gospel, and help promote human flourishing, locally and globally. As we consider BBOM projects, programs, community partners and team leaders, we focus on identifying discipline-specific trips with global and community partners where long-term commitment can be made to share formative opportunities for those we serve as well as our students. Currently, we offer three types of BBOM trips: (1) business consulting services, (2) business skills application, and (3) business skills development. If you would like to learn more about our BBOM opportunities or ways to engage with us in this area, please contact Assistant Director, Matt Douglas.
Dale P. Jones Business Ethics Forum
Each fall, the CLE hosts the multi-week Dale P. Jones Business Ethics Forum. The forum offers students the opportunity to grow in their ethical awareness and decision making. Students and stakeholders can connect with accomplished guest speakers and participate in experiential learning opportunities. Those include the Ethics SLAM for new students at Baylor, the HSB Ethics Case Competition for graduate and upper-level undergraduate students, and the National MBA Case Competition in Ethical Leadership for 12 to 15 MBA programs across the country each year.
Opportunities to Engage
There are several ways to come alongside our efforts in supporting our existing programs including joining us on campus to engage with students or by making a financial donation. We anticipate that many in the Baylor family, whether alumni, parents or other stakeholders, will share this same passion to build up the next generation of Christian leaders in business. Consider how you might be able to help us as we continue to build new opportunities to accomplish our mission to equip principled leaders, at Baylor and beyond, to fulfill their calling.
