Paul J. Meyer Christian Leadership in Business Banquet
The Paul J. Meyer Christian Leadership in Business Banquet is an annual event that celebrates the life and legacy of Christian leader Paul J. Meyer. Each year, an accomplished business leader provides encouragement and challenges around the importance of embodying the characteristics of Christ in their life and career.
Business as Mission
In partnership with the McBride Center for International Business, we provide students with opportunities to use their growing business skills for building up the kingdom of God abroad. The aim of any HSB Business as Mission experience or trip is twofold: join the work of other believers in another country in helping to promote human flourishing for God’s glory and to broaden our understanding and connection to other cultures and people for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dale P. Jones Business Ethics Forum
Each fall, the Christian Leadership and Ethics office hosts the multi-week Dale P. Jones Business Ethics Forum. The forum is designed around a new theme each year and offers students the opportunity to grow in their ethical awareness and decision making. Students and stakeholders have the opportunity to connect with accomplished guest speakers and participate in experiential learning opportunities. Those include the Ethics SLAM for new students at Baylor, the HSB Ethics Case Competition for graduate and upper-level undergraduate students, and the National MBA Case Competition in Ethical Leadership for 12 to 15 MBA programs across the country.
Opportunities to Engage
There are a number of ways you can come alongside our efforts in supporting our existing programs including coming to campus to engage with students or making a financial donation. We anticipate that many in the Baylor family, whether alumni, parents or other stakeholders, will share this same passion to build up the next generation of Christian leaders in business. Consider how you might be able to help us as we continue to build new opportunities to accomplish our mission to equip principled leaders, at Baylor and beyond, to fulfill their calling.
