Streaming platforms have made it incredibly easy to watch episodes of your favorite shows in quick succession. Sandeep Mazumder, the William E. Crenshaw Endowed Dean of the Hankamer School of Business, shared his favorite shows to watch when he has the time.

5. Welcome to Wrexham

As a long-time English soccer fan, the behind-the-scenes show of U.S. actors purchasing and running a non-league soccer club in Wales has been both captivating and inspiring.

4. River Monsters

This might be the best TV show of all time in my opinion. It is a mix between a fishing show and a detective series. Jeremy Wade might be one of the most interesting people in the world!

3. Mr. Bean

This is a recent one for my family and me. I used to watch the classic “Mr. Bean” series with my brother when I was a child, and recently I introduced this to my own kids. They absolutely love it, and Rowan Atkinson remains hilarious 30 years later.

2. Jeopardy

I have always been a fan of quiz shows—even appearing in an English gameshow called Countdown against my brother. “Jeopardy!” is an American classic and for good reason. If you can only watch one 30-minute show a week, catching an episode of “Jeopardy!” is one of the best options out there.

1. Shark Tank

Who doesn’t enjoy hearing entrepreneurs pitch their latest innovative ideas and secretly root for them to get funding from the sharks?
