The goal of the Center for Christian Leadership and Ethics in the Hankamer School of Business (HSB) is to help students, alumni and other stakeholders grow in two primary ways. First, we provide programs that help leaders exemplify and communicate the importance of ethical behavior and service in addition to maximizing profit. Second, we provide programs that help leaders identify and live out their vocational calling.
We believe HSB has a unique opportunity to provide a prominent Christian voice when it comes to leadership in business. Thus, we seek to advance a Biblical, Christian worldview as it pertains to business leadership and ethics. We are unapologetic in our efforts to equip leaders with this Christian emphasis, believing that all Christians are called to be ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). Within that, we are passionate about helping students and other stakeholders grow as Christian leaders who steward the resources entrusted to them, practice ethical decision making, see their work as a calling that serves a higher purpose.
The Center for Christian Leadership and Ethics provides several programs and opportunities for students, alumni and other stakeholders to grow, both within their faith and profession. Whether through the Christian Leadership in Business Scholarship Program, the Armes Family Christian Leadership in Business Summit, the Dale P. Jones Business Ethics Forum, the Paul J. Meyer Christian Leadership in Business Banquet or a Baylor Business: On Mission experience, the CLE equips principled leaders, at Baylor and beyond, to fulfill their calling.
We are excited to continue to engage with the Baylor family to build up the next generation of Christian leaders in business.
