About the Center
The Hodges Capital Financial Markets Center serves as the classroom for the two Practicum courses in Portfolio Management.
The Center also offers special information resources that provide access to the latest tools and data used by finance practitioners around the world including Bloomberg Professional Service, Thomson ONE Analytics, FactSet, Morningstar Research Reports, and CFA Institute Webcasts.
Facility Features
The facility is designed to create a boardroom atmosphere with the functionality of a classroom, a videoconferencing suite and a financial research center.
The room features a custom-designed, horseshoe-shaped conference table seating 20 people. Each seat is equipped with a wired microphone and wired and wireless network access and power outlets. The room also features four 61-inch NEC plasma displays.
Center Endowment
Construction of the Hodges Capital Financial Markets Center was made possible by a generous donation from Hodges Capital. The firm provided all of the funds needed to build the Center in the Foster Campus for Business and Innovation.
