Bears' Association of HR

The Bears' Association of Human Resources (BAHR) is a student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, sponsored by the Dallas HR professional chapter. Faculty advisors are Sara Perry and Mykka Fisher. BAHR's mission is to empower students to grow in HR knowledge, to network with HR professionals, and to build relationships with fellow students and faculty to ultimately prepare students for success in Human Resources.
BAHR typically meets twice per month and it is open to all students. All events are designed to give you valuable information in your own professional development journey and to help you connect in meaningful ways with other students, faculty and industry partners. BAHR has won the Superior Merit Award from SHRM for many consecutive years.
