Scholarship Information

Several scholarship funds are open primarily to students in the Baylor Business Fellows program. These scholarships are intended to supplement other financial awards students receive from Baylor and from outside sources. The awards are based on merit and - in some cases - financial need. To be considered for need-based scholarships, applicants must first submit their FAFSA and complete their Baylor CSS profile. Award notifications will come via the financial aid office by the end of the Spring semester for the use in the following academic year.

Scholarship Descriptions

The following scholarships are available primarily to Baylor Business Fellows:

The Carlton Scholarship is available, based on merit, to incoming freshman Business Fellows from the state of Arkansas.

The Getterman Scholarship is available to incoming freshman Business Fellows who graduated in the top 10% of a high school located in McLennan County, Texas.

The Riley Scholarship is available to current Business Fellows who: (1) have strong academic records at Baylor, (2) are US citizens, (3) are actively involved in their churches, (4) have worked or will work paid jobs/internships while in college, (5) exhibits a positive attitude, and (6) has demonstrated need. .

The Wilkerson Scholarship is available to current Business Fellows based on merit, need, personal character, Christian commitment, and service to others.

Scholarship Application Details

  • Incoming Freshmen: Incoming freshman Business Fellows are eligible only for the Carlton and Getterman scholarships, which are geographically limited. All students from Arkansas or McLennan County who have applied to Business Fellows by March 1 will be automatically evaluated for these scholarships. No additional application is required. However, incoming freshmen must have completed the FAFSA and CSS Profile (links below) by March 1. Selection is not contingent upon having submitted a financial deposit to Baylor, nor is the confirmation to Business Fellows binding upon the recipients.
  • Current Students: Current students are eligible only for the Riley and Wilkerson scholarships. Awards will be on a year-to-year basis and are not automatically renewable, though a student may receive an award more than one time. Interested students must apply by May 1 to be considered for the subsequent academic year.

FAFSA - Baylor's FAFSA School Code is 003545.
