Tuition and Financial Awards

Completing an MSIS degree is a worthwhile investment that helps broaden your future career prospects.

Increasing technological advancements (and the growing availability of data) requires information systems managers to navigate an increasingly dynamic market. Earning a Baylor MSIS degree empowers students to develop the skills needed to analyze raw data, successfully influence decision-making and turn valuable insights into competitive advantages. Historically, more than 70% of graduates secure positions – with an average starting salary of $84,167 – within 90 days of graduation.

We understand that the decision to financially embark on your graduate journey and invest in your future is often the hardest, which is why we provide the majority of students some type of financial support.

Financial Awards

About 75% of accepted Baylor MSIS applicants are offered financial aid in various forms tailored to meet student needs, such as tuition scholarships, grants, loans and work-study positions.

Tuition Scholarships

Awarded tuition remission scholarships average 65%. Scholarships are determined by a variety of factors, including work experience, GMAT/GRE score, and academic record.

Candidates do not need to fill out a separate application to be awarded a scholarship. Students will be notified by the Business School of any awarded scholarships at the same time as the admission decision notification. Priority is granted to early applications.

Grants, Loans and Student Employment

Other forms of financial aid are also available to students. Once your application is approved, students may be eligible to apply for additional financial aid. Student Financial Services helps work with students to determine grant, loan and work-study eligibility. Student employment opportunities can be found on the Student Employment website.
