IMPACT
Immersive Mentorship Program in Applied Consulting Teams
IMPACT is a consulting program that offers students the opportunity to develop their interest and skills in a consulting career, while receiving a preferred opportunity to connect with our industry partners. Selected students can live out the mission of the Hankamer School of Business and work towards becoming principled leaders who serve the global consulting marketplace through a transformational learning and innovative program. IMPACT fosters an environment of scholastic learning through working in project teams, project simulations, case studies, and completing real-world consulting projects.
IMPACT will accept applications starting in Spring of freshman year through October of sophomore year. IMPACT cohort (members) will be selected by industry partners, Consulting Group at Baylor, and faculty in November. The Program will begin/end January/December of each year. Members must join the Consulting Group at Baylor, take MGT 3355 and MGT 4355, participate in industry site visits at Baylor and company locations, and complete a minimum of 2 real-world consulting projects. Members will also receive industry mentors, connection with industry partner executives, preferred access to recruiting partners, and a $1,000 scholarship.
