Scholarships

The Marketing Department awards scholarships for students who have been accepted into the Hankamer School of Business majoring in Marketing, Professional Selling, or Sports Strategy and Sales and Entertainment. Interested students should send questions to Danielle_Steele, Marketing Department Office Manager.

Applications should be submitted by March 31st of each year. Scholarships will be awarded for the following academic year and recipients will be notified shortly after March 31st.

ALL students should apply using Scholarship Universe.

To determine eligibility for need-based university scholarships, Baylor requires submission of a CSS Profile as well as an annual FAFSA. Students who started at Baylor before summer 2019 are exempt from the CSS Profile requirement; however, they must still submit a FAFSA for need-based scholarship consideration. The following scholarships are available:

Marketing Scholarships

Baylor Chapter of the American Marketing Association Endowed Scholarship Fund: Must be American Marketing Association Chapter member. Selection based on scholastic merit and participation in AMA.
Brett H. and Debra S. Graham Endowed Scholarship Fund in Business: For any student enrolled in the School of Business with preference to students pursuing a major in Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Real Estate.
Carlos W. Moore Endowed Scholarship Fund: Selection based on merit and need. Applicant must have at least 3.0 GPA and exhibit a strong commitment to Christian values and lifestyle as evidenced by active participation in a local church.
Center for Professional Selling Endowed Scholarship Fund: Provides awards to students studying Professional Selling and who have been identified as students positively impacting the ProSales program and students.
Chou Family Endowed Scholarship Fund in Sports Sponsorship and Sales: Students enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business, with a preference given to students pursuing a degree in Sports Sponsorship and Sales, are eligible to apply.
Dixon Family Endowed Scholarship Fund in Business: Provides awards to students who are majoring in Professional Selling and who have been identified as students positively impacting the ProSales program and students.
Dr. Lawrence B. Chonko Scholarship Fund: For Marketing students with outstanding scholastic merit and service.
Gordon Rountree Endowed Academic Scholarship in Marketing: For Marketing students with outstanding scholastic merit and service.
Hammer Family Endowed Scholarship in Business: For Marketing students with outstanding scholastic merit and service.
IKON Office Solutions, Inc. Endowed Scholarship Fund: For Professional Selling majors with scholastic merit, service, and need.
J.F. England Endowed Scholarship Fund in Professional Selling: For Professional Selling majors with scholastic merit, service and need.
Jerry W. Johnson Endowed Scholarship in Marketing: Provides assistance to deserving students attending Baylor University who are enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business, with preference given to students who are pursuing a major in the Department of Marketing.
Kanaly Family Endowed Scholarship Fund: For students pursue a major in Sports, Sponsorships, and Sales with scholastic merit, service and need.
Karen & Jeff Tanner Endowed Scholarship Fund in Sales and Marketing: Students majoring in Sales and/or marketing with scholastic merit and need.
Kyle and Karen Fulton Endowed Scholarship in Business: For Professional Selling or Finance students enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business who graduated from a Texas high school within a 225-mile radius of Lubbock in any of the counties listed as requirements.
Mervin H. (Sr.) and Mildred L. Yeagle Endowed Scholarship Fund in Marketing: For students pursuing a Professional Selling or Sports, Sponsorship and Sales, or Music and Entertaining marketing majors with merit, service and need.
ProSales Suits Scholarship: For students in the Center for Professional Selling within the Hankamer School of Business.
Robert Scroggs Sales Scholarship Fund: For Marketing majors.
Tracy Shulz and Karen Turner Endowed Scholarship Fund: For students majoring or minoring in marketing through the Center for Nonprofit Leadership and Service Track.
Walter C. and Lillian Fadal Endowed Scholarship Fund: For students attending the Hankamer School of Business on the basis of merit, need, and service to the community, church, and Baylor.
Wanda Alexander Blockhus Endowed Scholarship Fund: For Marketing majors who are graduates of high schools located in California.

The faculty review committee will make selections based upon fit of the applicant with the requirements of the scholarships available. Students do not need to designate the scholarship for which they are applying.
