Baylor in Texas: Strategic Leadership and Innovation
Gain insights into the complexities of high-performing organizations by exploring strategic leadership in Texas. You’ll explore the nature of innovation, its drivers, patterns, and impact on organizations. We will engage with businesses and leaders to discover strategies that will drive innovation within their organizations. Based on Baylor’s main campus in central Texas, the immersion will also include a day trip to another major city such as Austin or Houston.
Baylor in Washington D.C.: Government, Business and Societal Impact
This in-residence experience exposes students to issues related to business, public policy, societal impact and their intersections. Participants build skills in critical thinking and influence as they understand how organizations and industries are impacted by policy and role advocacy plays in change.
Students sit in on active congressional hearings and participate in a learning exchange with a local expert to delve into the nuances of communication, strategy, and policy. Students are then challenged to apply the lessons learned to their own industry, business or product.

Baylor Abroad: Building and Sustaining Competitive Advantage
A student-selected international trip caps off the program, exposing students to the challenges inherent in conducting business on a global scale. Students experience first-hand countries at different stages in economic development, apply classroom knowledge to real-world issues and immerse themselves in the culture and business policies of a foreign country.
Imagine visiting with Takealot the Amazon of South Africa or Jio in India – working to disrupt digital services and technology throughout India. Each year we look at the world and we pull together different city pairings and then students vote on their preferred destination. Learning is relevant, timely and absolutely fascinating.
