Step 2: Submit Your Materials
- Current Resume
- International applicants—a minimum of three years of post-baccalaureate, professional work experience is preferred.
- Cover Letter
- The cover letter should include reasons why you are qualified for a place in the program, how your participation will add value to the program and provide any other information that would be useful for the admissions committee. The target length for the letter should be one page.
- One Letter of Recommendation
- The recommendation should be written by someone who can speak to your professional strengths and weaknesses and past success and accomplishments. Ideal recommenders would be a past/current supervisor or professor. Letters can be sent digitally, or a hard copy can be mailed. Mailed letters should be addressed as follows:

One Bear Place #98013
Waco, TX 76798-8013
- Transcripts
- Transcripts are required only from degree-granting institutions for bachelor's degrees and higher. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the evaluation process and can be uploaded into the application by the applicant. If admitted into the program, official transcripts will need to be requested by the student. Instructions for sending official transcripts.
- If the language of instruction at your institution is not English, then you must provide:
- Original-language copies of all transcripts and diplomas/academic certificates; and
- A separate, word-for-word, English-language translation of all academic records you submit to us.
- The translation should either come directly from the school itself or a professional, certified translator.
- It must contain all information shown on the original-language documents and "mirror" them as precisely as possible.
- Baylor University has partnered with WES (World Education Services) and SpanTran in an attempt to offer a viable solution to international applicants when evaluations are required.
- Exam Scores
- Our Full-Time MBA is GMAT/GRE test optional. A WAIVER IS NOT REQUIRED. While a GMAT or GRE score is not required to apply, applicants can self-report a current score with their application should they desire to do so.
- Applicants for our Pre-Clinical Track are required to submit either an MCAT, DAT or GRE score to be considered for admission. The PCT is designed for students who expect to matriculate into advanced clinical degree programs (MD, DDS, DPT, etc.) upon completing the MBA program and those advance degree programs require either an MCAT, DAT or GRE score. Therefore, the MBA program views these scores as effective indicators of applicant’s overall competitiveness for applying to their respective advanced clinical degree options.
- Electing to omit an exam score will not preclude applicants from being eligible for scholarships.
- For those who choose to report an exam score, unofficial scores are acceptable for the admissions evaluation process and can be self-reported in the application. If admitted into the program, official scores will need to be sent for any unofficial scores included in the application.

- English Proficiency Exam Requirements
- International applicants may be required to submit a TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo score. See English Language Requirements for score requirements and exemptions.
- If you are exempt from submitting an English Proficiency Exam score according to policy, email your waiver request to GraduateAdmissions@baylor.edu once you have uploaded your transcripts in order to submit your application.
- If you are required to submit an English proficiency score or elect to submit an optional entrance exam score, please upload an unofficial copy of a score report on the upload page that appears after you enter each exam score in the Test Scores section of your application.
- If you receive an offer of admission, you will be reminded that official test scores must be received. It will be your responsibility to request the necessary official documents be sent to the Graduate School.
