Programs and Course Information
Curriculum
Whatever your career aspirations, Baylor’s Full-Time MBA program offers the building blocks for a customized curriculum to fit your specific goals. Core MBA students may select from a wide variety of electives. Or, you can choose to pursue a specific concentration within your MBA degree.
Regardless of degree option, all incoming MBA students begin with an accelerated set of foundational business courses called Business Frameworks. Business Frameworks is designed to introduce and reinforce basic business concepts, preparing you with the skills and knowledge needed for the MBA Core Curriculum.
Business Frameworks focuses on accounting, statistics, finance and Excel and is delivered in four weeks during the summer semester. In summer 2024, courses begin July 8.
Program Experiences & Trips
Baylor’s MBA program values experiential learning and provides students with a customized and innovative curriculum that integrates a variety of learning experiences. We firmly believe that your MBA should be an experience that goes well beyond the classroom, so we take our students on the road for experiential learning. Opportunities through our Focus Firm project and Career MBA Leadership Summit give our students tangible experiences to take their learning to the next level.
The Baylor MBA also includes a global experience that provides a transformative educational opportunity for students. In partnership with the McBride Center for International Business, MBA students travel abroad as part of our updated curriculum.
Faculty
Our faculty are dedicated and accessible. MBA core courses are taught by faculty who teach only graduate courses. The group meets regularly to integrate topics between MBA courses and to relate current business events to academic concepts. They also discuss MBA program strategy and student issues. Offices for the core faculty are located in the Graduate Programs Center, making professors easily accessible to students.
