What is Cybersecurity?
Cybersecurity is generally explained as the practice of protecting systems, networks and programs from cyber-attacks. There are three key components that must work together to create an effective defense against cyber-attacks:
- People – End users are the first line of defense against cyber-attack. How does an organization educate and empower employees to be secure with their technology?
- Processes – What are some frameworks to deal with both attempted and successful threats, how do you conduct a Risk Management Assessment to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Technology – Tools and software used to protect endpoint devices like computers, routers, smart devices. Learn about firewalls, malware protection, antivirus software and more.
