The Baylor University Full-Time MBA Core Degree Plan at the Hankamer School of Business equips you with a strong, well-rounded foundation across every core area of business: finance, strategy, analytics, marketing, operations, and leadership. Designed for early career professionals and career pivoters, this program emphasizes experiential learning, ethical leadership and real‑world decision‑making.

This is not an abstract MBA. From day one, you will work on live business challenges, collaborate with corporate partners and develop the professional skills needed to lead in today’s global marketplace.

Why Study the Full-Time MBA Core Degree at Baylor?

Organizations need leaders who understand the entire business, not just one function. The Core MBA prepares you to think holistically, communicate effectively and make confident, data‑informed decisions across industries.

  • Gain global business perspective through international management coursework

  • Apply classroom learning directly to real companies and real challenges

A Curriculum Designed for Versatile Business Leadership

The Core MBA curriculum combines a strong core with flexibility through electives and experiential learning. Students complete foundational coursework during the first summer and fall terms, with the option to pursue a specific area of study such as business analytics, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship and corporate innovation, environmental sustainability and healthcare administration for the remainder of the program.

You will take Business Frameworks in summer and then choose a mixture of core MBA courses and electives in the fall and spring semesters.  You will pursue an internship in the summer and take a final semester of courses in the next fall semester, completing the degree in just 18 months.
