Applicant Qualifications

To apply to the Baylor Online MBA Program candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Two years of professional work experience is preferred.
• An undergraduate degree from an accredited US college or university or its equivalent in another country.

Application Requirements

To complete your application you will need to submit the following materials:

• Detailed Resume
• Two letters of Recommendation
  • Recommenders should be professional contacts such as a supervisor, colleague, or client who can speak about your talents, work accomplishments, and qualifications. Within the application, you will provide the name, organization, title, and email address of two references.
• Transcripts
  • Transcripts are only required from degree-granting institutions for bachelor's degree and higher.
• Application Fee
  • WAIVED for all applicants: $50 - application fee
• Optional Personal Statement
  • Personal statements should include the applicant’s reason(s) for applying for their
    desired program, how this program will help them achieve their
    professional/academic goals, and any additional information the applicant deems
    relevant to their success in the program

Note: A GMAT/GRE is NOT required to be admitted to the Online MBA program.
Note: An interview is NOT required but the Admissions Committee may schedule an interview if more information is needed.

Transfer Credits

• Up to 9 transfer credit hours can be accepted upon admission.
• No transfer credits will be considered after the start of the program.
• For questions regarding transfer credits, please contact grad_business@baylor.edu.

Application Deadlines

There's no better time to begin your Online MBA or Certificate than now. We offer multiple start dates per year and the convenience of a fast application-to-start calendar so you don't have to apply months before you want to start your degree program.

Application Deadline: Application must be submitted via your Graduate Application Portal by this date to be considered for your desired term of entry.

Payment Deadline: Students will be billed on the first business day after you register for classes. Payment is due on the last day of the month that you were billed.

International Students

English Language Tests: All foreign national applicants are required to provide a score from the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE Academic test. Minimum scores are required.

Foreign Transcripts: If you are an international applicant or attended a foreign university, please follow the guidelines for foreign transcripts.
