The Center for Sports Strategy and Sales is the only program in the US focused on generating revenue for sports. S3 graduates have career opportunities in sales, digital marketing or business analytics for major league teams, university athletics, corporations and agencies. Baylor is the only university combining learning with practice in partnership with Baylor Athletics to prepare graduates for careers in the business of sports.
The S3 program is unique in vision, values, mission and culture to transform the business of sports and entertainment. No other academic program in the world focuses solely on revenue generation in this industry. Consistent with the Christian mission and purpose of Baylor University, we prepare passionate servant leaders to positively influence lives in places people go to play or watch others play.

Staying fit, beginning with our spiritual lives, drives overall fitness and behaviors consistent with SICEM values and the other six behaviors to accomplish the S3 Vision and Mission. Going the 2nd mile is the keystone to completing the first six behaviors that permeate the S3 Culture.

Darryl Lehnus Endowed Scholarship Fund in Sports Strategy and Sales
The Darryl Lehnus Endowed Scholarship Fund in Sports Strategy and Sales was established in 2020, in honor of Darryl Lehnus’ retirement from Baylor University after over 35 years of service.
This endowed scholarship fund provides assistance to deserving students attending Baylor University enrolled in the Hankamer School of Business and pursuing a degree program affiliated with the Center for Sports Strategy and Sales. Preference is given to those in the S3 Sales Track with demonstrated integrity and a passion to pursue a fulfilling career in the business of sports and entertainment.
