Final Sales Competition of the ProSales Year: Results of the BBVA

Baylor ProSales recently held the Baylor Business Value Analysis (BBVA) competition, where students completed a value analysis and delivered the results to an existing customer via video. BBVA competitors had to address a supply chain issue involving microchips used in the manufacture of small consumer appliances. The student competitors specifically had to address how best to meet the Fortune 100 company’s manufacturing timetable, given the Taiwanese microchips were not scheduled to arrive at the Midwest plant as promised (a concern for the manufacturer since the appliances exhibit strong sales at Christmas).
