Baylor Business Announces Faculty Promotions

The Hankamer School of Business (HSB) is pleased to announce a new round of faculty promotions recognizing outstanding contributions in teaching, research and service. These promotions reflect the continued excellence of Baylor Business faculty members who are shaping the next generation of business leaders while advancing knowledge in their respective fields.

“The Baylor Business faculty exemplify the high standards we hold as a business school,” said David M. Szymanski, PhD, the William E. Crenshaw Endowed Dean for HSB. “Their pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and service strengthens our impact in the classroom, in industry and in academia. I congratulate those earning promotions this year and look forward to their continued contributions and leadership.” 

The following faculty members have been promoted to the rank of Full Professor:

Matt Quade, PhD – Management
Ann Mirabito, PhD – Marketing

The following faculty members have been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor:

John Chen, PhD – Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation
Xunyi Wang, PhD – Information Systems and Business Analytics
Qin Weng, PhD – Information Systems and Business Analytics
Wen Zhang, PhD – Management

The following faculty members have been promoted to the rank of Teaching Professor:
