Dr. Amber El-Amin is the Deputy Program Director and an Assistant Professor at the Army Baylor University Graduate Program in Health and Business Administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, a Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, a Master’s in Business Administration, and Doctor of Philosophy in Health Services Research. Dr. El-Amin is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force and has served as a Medical Service Corps officer for more than 15 years.
Dr. El-Amin’s dissertation research assessed health care use, costs, and quality for Centers of Excellence for pediatric congenital heart disease care for the military beneficiary population. Her research interests include universal access to health care and insurance, racial disparities, health care utilization, and maternal/fetal outcomes. Dr. El-Amin is a member of the Project Management Institute and holds a Project Management Professional certification.
