João Fernando Rossi Mazzoni

João Fernando Rossi Mazzoni is a Ph.D. student in Entrepreneurship at Baylor University. Originally from Brazil, he got his undergraduate degree in Economics and master’s in management from the University of Sao Paulo (USP). While a master’s student, João was a teaching assistant in two different microeconomics courses and a Tutor Professor at Insper in Brazil.
His research interests involve the intersection of Entrepreneurship and Strategy with Economics. He likes to study the importance of institutions in supporting a free society and the role that Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs play within different institutional arrangements.
An aviation geek and a sports fan, João lives with his wife, Mariana, and their cat, Luke.
