Professional Summary
Timothy R. Kayworth currently serves as a professor of Information Systems at the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University. Since joining Baylor in 1996, he has served as both chair of the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (2006-2016) and associate dean for Graduate Business Programs (2017-2021). His research interests center on IT strategy and governance as well as the role of culture in IS and has been published in MIS Quarterly, the Journal of Strategic Information Systems, the Journal of MIS, European Journal of Information Systemsand others. His most current research examines the phenomenon of shadow IT in organizational data analytics initiatives.
