He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, Masters in Business Administration in Aviation (MBA-A) from Embry Riddle Aeronautical in Daytona Beach, FL, Masters of Science (MS) in Administration, Central Michigan University from Mount Pleasant, MI, Bachelors of Science (BS) in Resource Management and an Associate of Science (AS) in Business Administration from Troy State University, AL. Additionally, he is an Army trained and certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Black Belt. Dr. Carzell Middleton is a retired Medical Service Corps Officer with over 32 years of military leadership, management, and change management experiences while serving in the United States Army.
Dr. Middleton’s dissertation research explored Soldier Satisfaction Perceptions of Leadership and Job Satisfaction within Northern Regional Medical Command (NRMC) i.e. followers perceptions of leaders during both garrison and combat operations. Additionally, Dr. Middleton is a member of both Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM) and American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
