Derek Winkler is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the Texas Blockchain Council. He currently serves as a member of Baylor’s Innovation Advisory Council.

Prior to joining Baylor University, he served as partner at Ernst & Young LLP (EY). At EY, he served in a variety of tax, human capital and sector leadership roles, including Americas Director of Human Capital Performance & Reward (Tax) and Americas COO of Global Immigration and Business Traveler Tax Services.
