Emmanuel Ayaburi, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics. Ayaburi received his PhD degree at The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2017.
His research interests include information systems security, privacy, data breaches, crowdsourcing and open innovation. Emmanuel’s research focuses on topics including behavioral factors related to phishing susceptibility, organizational data breach image repair, user engagement in open innovation and crowdsourcing. He has published in several top-tier Information Systems journals, including the European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal and the International Journal of Information Systems. In addition, his research has been presented at several premier Information Systems conferences.
He has been a reviewer for some of the top journals in Information Systems. He has served as a mini-track chair for the International Conference on Information.
