Hannah Stolze, PhD, holds the inaugural William E. Crenshaw Endowed Chair in Supply Chain Management in the Department of Management at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, a nationally recognized institution for business education. She serves as co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Supply Chain Management, one of the field's premier peer-reviewed publications, distinguished by its rigorous, high-impact empirical scholarship.
A scholar, author, and speaker at the intersection of transformative supply chain strategy, sustainability, and values-driven leadership, Stolze's work advances both academic understanding and real-world application of transformative and sustainable supply chain research.
Stolze founded and directed the Wheaton Center for Faith & Innovation at Wheaton College and is a 2020 Fulbright Scholar, having taught and conducted research in Indonesia. Her background includes service in the U.S. Army in the Ordnance Corps and Army Public Affairs, as well as experience leading import operations in international business — a foundation that informs her multidisciplinary, globally minded research perspective.
Her empirical research spans collaborations with more than 50 organizations across transformative supply chain research, faith-and-business strategy integration, and social and environmental sustainability. Her peer-reviewed work has appeared in leading journals such as the Journal of Supply Chain Management, the Journal of Operations Management, and the Journal of Business Logistics, as well as in the Harvard Business Review, where she authored "Are You Prepared for Bad Press About One of Your Suppliers?"
Stolze is the author of Wisdom-Based Business: Applying Biblical Principles and Evidence-Based Research for a Purposeful and Profitable Business, endorsed by prominent industry leaders including Kristin Colber-Baker, former Global Head of Talent at Mars, Inc., Dr. Philip Ryken, President of Wheaton College, and Phillip M.
