Professional Summary
Scharla Pogue began her career in education in 2010 as a first grade teacher at Crawford Elementary in Crawford, Texas. She then transitioned to teaching seventh and eight grade English Language Arts at Crawford High School with a focus on developing essential communication skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening and viewing, often through complex texts and discussions, to enable effective communication, critical thinking and academic success.
Pogue joined Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business Undergraduate Programs Office in 2022 as an academic advisor.
