Professional Summary
Scott is a Baylor alumnus receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1971 and his Master of Health Administration in 1981. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of West Florida. He served for thirty years in the Air Force as a Medical Executive retiring as a Colonel in 2001. Positions held included: Commander of several Air Force Hospitals including Langley in Virginia, The Executive Director for Health Policy for the Assistant Secretary of Defense in Washington DC. He culminated his military service as the Deputy Surgeon for Air Combat Command where he provided operational and fiscal oversight to seventeen medical treatment facilities In the fall of 2001 Scott came to Baylor to help establish a Healthcare Administration Specialization within the MBA program. This program had a successful start in the fall of 2003. He currently serves as the administrative director of the Robbins Institute for Health Policy and Leadership.
