Professional Summary

Shelly Chudej began her career in education in 1990 as an elementary teacher, teaching grades one through six over the course of an accomplished 31-year career. She spent four years at St. Louis Catholic Elementary School in Waco, Texas, before returning to her alma mater, Robinson ISD, where she dedicated the remainder of her career to serving students and the district community as both a teacher and an administrator. At Robinson ISD, Shelly held multiple leadership roles, including assistant principal at Robinson Primary and Robinson Junior High, as well as principal of Robinson Junior High and Robinson Elementary. 

Following her retirement from the Texas Public School System, Shelly joined Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business in 2022 as an academic advisor in the Undergraduate Programs Office. She currently serves as the HSB Billington Peer Leader Program manager in addition to her advising responsibilities.
