Stanley Qu

Stanley Qu is a Business Fellows and Finance major with a minor in Biochemistry. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Stanley is passionate about life science innovation and the opportunity to serve underserved communities like his hometown. His interest in healthcare was shaped by his mother’s battle with cancer, which led him to found Keep Your Hair, a nonprofit supporting women undergoing chemotherapy.
Stanley has conducted research on diabetic nephropathy as an American Heart Association Fellow and co-founded Baylor’s chapter of Scholars of Finance. Through BAN, Stanley hopes to merge his scientific interests with business acumen to support technologies that make a meaningful impact. Outside of BAN and academics, Stanley enjoys playing tennis and golf, spending time with friends and family, and playing with his dog, Gracie.
