Tiara N. Walz, PhD, MHA, MBA, MS.Ed, FACHE, is the Deputy Program Director and an Assistant Professor with the U.S. Army-Baylor University Graduate Program in Health & Business Administration. A board-certified healthcare executive and active-duty Army officer, Dr. Walz brings over 16 years of leadership experience spanning clinical operations, managed care, and health policy. Her academic and research interests include reproductive healthcare access for military servicewomen, chronic pain among veterans, and innovation in healthcare management and education.

Dr. Walz earned her PhD in Public Health from Oregon State University and holds graduate degrees in Health Administration, Business Administration, and Education in Exercise Science. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and currently serves as the Operations Committee Chair for the Army Regent Advisory Council, Outreach Director for the South Texas Chapter of ACHE, and Deputy Consultant to the Office of the Surgeon General for Army Healthcare Administrators.

An award-winning educator and researcher, Dr. Walz is deeply committed to developing future healthcare leaders across both military and civilian sectors. She is also an avid volunteer, dedicating time to community service, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
