The Graduate Business Programs Hooding Ceremony is a special academic tradition that recognizes students who have successfully completed their graduate degree programs and are transitioning from students to alumni. Unlike a commencement ceremony, hooding provides a more personal and intimate opportunity to celebrate the dedication, perseverance, and growth that have characterized each graduate's journey.

The Fall 2026 ceremony will honor 113 graduates representing the Master of Accountancy (MACC), Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), Master of Science in Economics (MSECO), Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS), and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs.

Throughout their programs, these graduates balanced demanding careers, family responsibilities, military service, community commitments, and personal challenges while pursuing advanced degrees. Their success reflects not only academic accomplishment but also resilience, discipline, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

The hooding of each graduate serves as a visible symbol of that achievement. As faculty place the academic hood over each graduate's shoulders, they recognize both the knowledge gained and the transformation that has occurred during the graduate experience.
