Cheryl VanAllen

Cheryl VanAllen was appointed senior director of development in the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in March 2026. She serves as a trusted philanthropic advisor to alumni, parents, corporations, foundations and friends of Baylor, working collaboratively to develop and align major gifts in support of scholarships, faculty excellence, research and transformational student programs within the Business School. Cheryl originally joined Baylor University in 2024 as Director of Development for the Honors College, following an extensive career in executive leadership and revenue generation primarily within the corporate life sciences and healthcare sector. Cheryl is driven by a commitment to equipping students to flourish and lead with purpose as Christian, faith‑driven business leaders.

Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at San Diego State University in 1992. Cheryl and her husband Mark VanAllen reside in Woodway, Texas, and enjoy hiking, collegiate athletics (Sic ‘em Bears!), travel and spending time with their two adult children, extended family and friends.
