Professional Summary

Dr. José Mauricio Jiménez is an Associate Professor at the Army-Baylor Graduate Program in Health and Business Administration. He joined the program in July 2020 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted for his academic contributions and professional impact.

He brings broad industry experience from Fortune 500 companies, with expertise in management consulting, engineering management, project management, logistics, and continuous improvement. He previously served as an Assistant Professor and Civilian Advisor in the Engineering Management Program at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and conducted agent-based healthcare simulation research at the Biocomplexity Institute of Virginia Tech.

Dr. Jiménez has served in the U.S. Army Reserve since 2010 and was commissioned into the Medical Service Corps in 2011. His Area of Concentration is Environmental Science Officer, and he holds Additional Skill Identifiers in Environmental Engineering, Instructor, and Operations Research/Systems Analysis (ORSA). He currently serves as a Major with the Medical Center of Excellence, supporting public health and force readiness across the Army.

Dr. Jiménez was recognized as the 2025 TRADOC Educator of the Year for excellence in teaching and mentorship.
